I'm Karyna. I grew up in Kharkiv, Ukraine, watching my mother sew. She taught me the basics — how to read a pattern, how to handle a needle — and I taught myself the rest.
The first dress I made from scratch was the pink lace piece you see on this page. I wore it to a wedding. People asked who made it. That's how this started.
